Life at Media Cause

Sure, we’re a digital marketing agency, but we definitely don’t act like one all the time. 

To keep a healthy work-life balance, we work off a 30 billable hour work week, leaving 10 hours for professional development, training, and internal initiatives. 

If you’re in a city where we have a physical office (Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.) our policies are flexible-come in when you want to socialize, and work from home when you’d rather skip the commute. If you’re in a fully remote role, you can join a co-working space (we’ll foot the bill) to get out of the house and maybe make some new connections.

We also have standardized role competencies, reviews, and promotions, giving everyone a clear and direct path to take ownership over their career growth, including $1,000 a year to use for professional development courses and programs. 

If you’re thinking this is too good to be true, it’s not. Most new hires with past agency experience go through an adjustment period to shake off any shortcomings of past work environments. To help them through it, we give all new hires an Onboarding Buddy for their first month on the job,  and encourage them to ask all the questions they might feel unsure about asking their manager. We pride ourselves on creating a psychologically safe environment for people to ask, learn, and grow from day one.
